Now, at 01.09.2004, we are on the next stage:

1. We have the Official Act of City Counsil about the municipal ownership of the building for the Project on the Chebotareva Str. 6 A. and about the sending of this building to the Governmental Institution "The City Center for social help to family and children" for the realization International Lions Project.

2. The ground, where the building for Project is standing, is documentally ready to start.

3. The tender between projecing organizations was held. The winner - The Governmental Projecting Institute "BelZhylProject".

4. Now we'll start the work about building-documents (it need near 9 monthes) and. on parallele, start the first stages of building and preparing works.

5. At the reconstruction period for building, we will make a theoretical and practical work for the creating the NEW SOCIAL TECHNOLOGY of rehabilitation and adaptation. It help to families and children to be more protected very soon and help to be ready to prolongue the rehabilitation process in the new building without pauses.

The purpose of the middle-Project for 2005-2007
The given project is directed on satisfaction of interests and protection of the rights of a special category of the children's population, REQUIRING IN SPECIAL PROTECTION,- children who were ill or have had been ill by heavy cancer or haematological disease.
The purpose of the Project - the creation in Byelorussia, on the basis of Republican public association " the Family center of the social - psychological help "Trust", with methodical assistance of Official body " the City center of the social help to family and children " and the Republican scientific - practical center of children's oncology and hematology of the complex republican system of the social and psychological rehabilitation and adaptation for families, bringing up the child with heavy somatic disease with safed menthal and emotional spheres.

Substantiation of a urgency of the Project
Now in Byelorussia there is no any system of the social or psychological rehabilitation, adaptation and support for families, bringing up the child with heavy somatic disease (oncology, hematology, defeats of a liver, kidneys, etc.) with safed menthal and emotional sphere (what mean to be possible to use a ordinary scientifical and practical approachs to this work) .
such stages of work with family and children, as:
- psychological rehabilitation of the child and members of family,
- social and psychological adaptation during treatment,
- personal support of family, after an extract from medical institution,
- rehabilitation and adaptation to conditions of a "usual" life in a condition of remission,
are not connected in one social-technological process, and are submitted separately in the limited kind or are absent (for example, the complex psychological help to siblings, to other members of family, personal support of the sick child, post-therapeutic rehabilitation and adaptation of the child, mother, the father, siblings).
Thus, after half-year about one year in conditions of a hospital, after an extract the majority of families is experienced with serious difficulties of psychological and social character in adaptation to conditions of a "normal" life. In result on a background of psycho-social problems the probability of relapse of disease grows.
According to the Convention on the rights of the Child any child, including the invalids, has the right to special care, education and preparation to help him with conducting a high-grade and worthy life in the conditions providing the maximal independence and the main thing - successful social integration.
The system of complex psychological rehabilitation, adaptation and support of the family, offered will allow to realize this purpose within the framework of the given Project.

The Tasks of the Project
1. The creation and the equipment (on the basis of social - psychological service of the Republican scientific - practical center of children's oncology and hematology) by the Republican public association " the Family center of the social - psychological help "Trust", with an methodical and scientifical support by " the City center of the social help to family and children ", of the experimental laboratory for working with an social and psychological technology of the help to children and rehabilitation of families, bringing up the child with heavy somatic disease.
2. Development of technology of complex psychological rehabilitation and support of family from the moment of receipt in a hospital till the moment of returning to a place of residing, including the following stages:
- receipt in clinic and an establishment of the diagnosis,
- adaptation to conditions of a hospital -life,
- support of family on a process of treatment,
- support at the moment of probable crisis situations,
- extract from clinic,
- support of family after an extract from a hospital in conditions of the rehabilitation Center,
- adaptation of family to a usual life.
3. Accumulation on the basis of experimental laboratory of scientific materials by rehabilitation and adaptable techniques, libraries of audio and video data.
4. Research work on search of the most effective forms and methods of work with families, bringing up the child with heavy somatic disease.
5. Carrying out on the basis of laboratory of social - psychological and sociological researches of families.
6. Development of a scientifical and methodical materials and manuals on rehabilitation and adaptations, both for experts, and for families, and also special methodical materials on digital carriers (audio of CD) for individual and group work.
7. Introduction in practice of the help of practical results of activity of experimental laboratory, carrying out of scientifical and practical seminars for experts, members of families, carrying out of scientific - practical conference.
8. Development of new directions of activity of scientifical and practical laboratory and the international cooperation in questions of rehabilitation and adaptation for families bringing up the child with heavy somatic disease.

1.2. The conclusion of the contract " About creation on base FC "Trust" of the experimental psycho-social laboratory " between:
- Republican public association " the Family center of the social - psychological help "Trust",
- The republican scientific - practical center of children's oncology and hematology,
- The city center of the social help to family and children
1.3. Equipment of experimental laboratory by necessary materials and means. Introduction of established posts from among employees FC"Trust", the Cancer Hospital.
1.4. Creation of intellectual fund of materials for rehabilitation and adaptable techniques, software products, libraries of audio and video data.
1.5. Preparation of Internet - page for information support of the program of complex psychological rehabilitation and adaptation for families, bringing up the child with heavy somatic disease.
1.6. The decision of the current organizational questions of activity of experimental laboratory and questions of interaction with profile structures and bodies of public health services, education, social protection in a place of treatment and residing of the child.
1.7. Maintenance of financing of activity of experimental laboratory and giving to it the scientifical and practical status.

2006

9. The development "on a turn-key basis" technologies of complex psychological rehabilitation, adaptation and support of family, bringing up the child with heavy somatic disease.
10. The coordination of this technology with the state instances and the edition of the methodical manual on the base of results of realization of the Project.
11. Preparation of offers on results-basis of realization of the project for inclusion of the developed technology in the State program on oncology.
12. Granting the " the City Center of the social help to family and children " on a gratuitous basis of all methodical materials on the developed technology with the purpose of the further development of the Project on the basis of a new building, wich is reconstruct now for this purpose.
13. Distribution and introduction of the received results to the regional centers of Byelorussia.

As is understanding, there is a "middle"-level Project before we start our new Republican Project in the new building and condition in 2007.

We can't lost tis two years and must to develop and prepare this technology as well as possible for start in 2007 new stage, using our possibilities for help from TOMORROW and TODAY.
